We are Karbon

We build beautiful, functional, award-winning iOS and Android apps. The biggest companies in the world trust us to help them create amazing experiences for millions of users.

A small team with an obsessive attention to detail, we value quality over quantity and focus on only a few key projects per year. We strive for honesty, transparency and open communication with our partners.

Current Projects

We’re helping Wing build OpenSky for iOS and Android:

OpenSky is the simplest and fastest way to view drone rules and regulations, so you can take flight with confidence—whether that means flying a single drone or an entire fleet. Whether you’re a hobbyist who loves to fly, or a business that uses unmanned aircraft for mapping or photography, OpenSky makes it easy to find out where it’s safe to fly.

OpenSky is currently available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.

And

We’re helping build Google Fiber for iOS:

Easily manage your Google Fiber account and internet service. Run speed tests, edit simple and advanced network settings, restart your router, and share your Wi-Fi networks and passwords with family and friends. At-a-glance network information, critical alerts and support make this app a critical companion for the lightning-fast Google Fiber service.

Google Fiber is currently available on the Apple App Store.

Previously

We helped Google build Science Journal for iOS:

Whether you’re a science educator or a hobbyist doing science at home, you can keep your notes, photos, and observations all in one convenient place. Use the sensors in your iPhone or iPad to measure and graph phenomena such as light, sound, and motion, or connect to external sensors via bluetooth to conduct experiments on the world around you.

Science Journal was made open source in 2019 and is available on GitHub. In 2020, Science Journal was sold to Arduino.
